Charli XCX has dropped her much-anticipated album, CRASH.
CRASH is the English artist’s fifth studio album. The mission departs from her earlier hyperpop sound and ventures extra into the realms of dance-pop.

Forward of the album’s launch, the artist launched her fourth and ultimate single for the album, “Child,” accompanied by a music video directed by Imogene Strauss and Luke Orlando.
In an Apple Music 1 interview with Zane Lowe, Charli XCX revealed how experiences corresponding to failed relationships and friendships helped her create CRASH.
“Folks do fall out of relationships, folks do lose pals, and so forth.,” Charli says. “And that’s actually occurred on many ranges for me doing this album.”
She continued to speak in regards to the comforting nature of pop music for herself in addition to others.
