Earlier than he made Star Wars, George Lucas directed a tough sci-fi film titled THX 1138 a few dystopian future the place humanity takes medicine to suppress their feelings. (Whereas the film is pretty obscure, you most likely know its title as a result of Lucas named his sound firm, THX, after it.) This week’s episode of Andor is filled with references to THX 1138, largely visible ones: The way in which the characters put on all-white jumpsuits and stay in all-white rooms, whereas they toil away in underground services.
That’s one of many many Easter eggs, Star Wars (and George Lucas) references, and little particulars you may need missed in Episode 9 of Andor.
