Brendan Fraser has recalled his devastation after his younger son was recognized with autism earlier than his second birthday.
Talking to The Howard Stern Present, the 54-year-old stated it felt like he was “hit with a baseball bat” on the top when informed of Griffin’s situation a few years in the past.
“Once I discovered my child’s prognosis at 22 or 24 months, I used to be crestfallen, to say the least,” the Whale star stated on the present, as per Individuals. “The primary response that I had was, ‘I wish to know how you can repair this. What is the remedy? What does this imply?'”

The actor stated that Griffin, now 20, even helped him dive into his character of Charlie on The Whale – a reclusive and overweight English instructor who makes an attempt to reconnect together with his estranged teenage daughter.
“[Griffin] simply turned 20. He is an enormous child, he is 6-foot-5 [195cm]. He is acquired large fingers and ft, an enormous physique. I perceive intimately what it’s to be near an individual who lives with weight problems,” Fraser informed Interview journal final November.
