On this week’s episode of Lindsie Chrisley’s podcast titled The Southern Tea, Todd Chrisley’s daughtered opened up on the method of being legally adopted by his spouse, Julie. Lindsie tells her listeners that whereas she doesn’t remorse the scenario, she does imagine issues would have transitioned a bit extra easily if she had gotten some remedy beforehand.
Lindsie Chrisley needs she had remedy earlier than Julie adopted her
As some followers are studying for the primary time, Lindsie Chrisley was legally adopted by Todd’s spouse Julie as a younger grownup. Lindsie tells her listeners she was 19 when she made the choice to get legally adopted by Julie. On this week’s episode of her podcast, she shared her emotions on being adopted as a younger grownup and fessed up on whether or not she thought she made a mistake or not.
“That call was made once I was 19 years previous. She did legally undertake me. That complete course of was, wanting again on it, much more chaotic than what I felt prefer it was once I was residing it.”
Wanting again, Lindsie Chrisley realizes now she was going by a little bit of an “id disaster” between the ages of 17 and 19. She admits she felt an actual lack of belonging wherever. And, it was largely as a result of she was being raised by Todd and Julie. However, she was doing so alongside kids they created collectively. So, she felt like a little bit of an outsider. Lindsie Chrisley hoped that having Julie legally undertake her would make her really feel extra like she was a part of the household.
Todd Chrisley’s daughter had fairly excessive hopes for the adoption as she thought it will wash away her abandonment points and that simply isn’t what the end result was. In actual fact, Lindsie admits Julie adopting her as a younger grownup simply made issues much more difficult. Seems, Lindsie Chrisley needs she would have gotten some remedy previous to going by the adoption course of. She went on to clarify that she believes the remedy would have allowed her to learn extra from Julie adopting her.
She needed it to be clear she didn’t remorse it
Lindsie Chrisley needed it to be abundantly clear she was not saying she regretted Julie adopting her as a younger grownup. She simply wished she would have put a bit extra work into getting remedy and educating herself beforehand. If she had completed that, she thinks she would have gotten extra out of the expertise.
She added as she doubled down on eager to make it crystal clear she didn’t remorse it: “Once more, glad that I made the choice, don’t have regrets as a result of the very last thing I need is for individuals to go surfing and say, ‘Oh, nicely, she regrets this determination. No, I don’t remorse the choice.”
