Lynyrd Skynyrd will rejoice 50 years of God-graced Southern rock with the career-spanning Fyfty field set, set for launch on Oct. 13.

The gathering, which will likely be accessible as a four-CD or digital set, will contact on varied phases of the band’s storied historical past, together with their early Muscle Shoals recordings, mid-‘70s reign, 1987 tribute tour and subsequent reunion and latter-day albums like 2009’s God & Weapons and 2012’s Final of a Dyin’ Breed.
Fyfty can even embrace two beforehand unreleased stay tracks: a 1976 rendition of “Free Chook” from Atlanta’s Fox Theatre and a 2022 efficiency of “Gimme Three Steps” from late guitarist Gary Rossington’s remaining present with the band.
