Sloppy Jane has launched a gripping cowl of My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade minimize “Most cancers.”

It marks her first new music since 2021’s Madison, and Haley Dahl says, “My Chemical Romance is my greatest affect so far as being an insane band with an unimaginable quantity of world-building. I’ve beloved them since I used to be a child. I began enjoying this track dwell whereas opening for different bands on the Madison cycle, as type of an entry level. I selected ‘Most cancers’ as a result of it’s piano- and strings-driven, and its message is ‘I really like you, and now I’ll die,’ which is mainly what I’m saying on each single track on Madison. I don’t like joke-y covers — I really like the track and thought it would slot in with mine.”

The “Most cancers” cowl is out through Saddest Manufacturing facility Data, the label imprint of Dahl’s one-time Sloppy Jane bandmate Phoebe Bridgers. Dahl will open for boygenius tonight (Oct. 31) at Hollywood Bowl, which can also be with 100 gecs.

After the present with boygenius, Sloppy Jane will likely be on tour supporting Pussy Riot and Deap Vally, together with an NYC present at Le Poisson Rouge on Feb. 17 with Deap Vally. See all dates right here.
