Gucci Mane and B.G. appeared collectively on the newest episode of the Rap Radar podcast, which debuted on YouTube on Friday (Dec. 15). The Atlanta rhymer and New Orleans spitter talked to co-hosts Elliott Wilson and Brian “B.Dot” Miller about their just-released joint mixtape Choppers & Bricks.
Throughout their dialogue about their mixtape, Elliott questioned Gucci about being left off of a latest viral “Mixtape Mount Rushmore” meme, which featured Future, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne and Jeezy. The exclusion of Guwop sparked a debate amongst followers on social media.
Gucci wasn’t comfortable in regards to the snub, however made it clear that his face belongs on something that is hip-hop associated.
“I positively belong there on the Mount Rushmore of something,” Gucci asserted on the 25-minute mark within the video under. “That is simply my opinion, however I am biased.”
“I am not blind, you recognize. I’ve received completely different standards that what I choose than what, most likely, you choose,” he defined additional. “Or anyone else may choose. Or the favored opinion may choose.”
Gucci added that in his hustling days, he would play mixtapes by BG (Life After Money Cash), Lil Jon & the Eastside Boys and 50 Cent on heavy rotation in his automobile.
