Two-time Oscar-nominated actress Scarlett Johansson is making her directorial debut with the upcoming drama Eleanor the Nice. Oscar-nominated actress June Squibb (About Schmidt, Nebraska, Thelma) will star within the lead function, and she or he has been solid alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave, Physician Unusual within the Multiverse of Insanity), Jessica Hecht (Pals, The Sinner), and Erin Kellyman (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, The Inexperienced Knight).
The film, previously titled Eleanor, Invisible, follows Eleanor Morgenstein (Squibb), a 90-year-old lady making an attempt to rebuild her life after the dying of her greatest pal. Because of this, she strikes again to New York Metropolis after dwelling in Florida for many years.
Tory Kamen (The Mick) wrote the screenplay. TriStar Footage and Sony Footage Classics, partnering for the primary time, will launch Eleanor the Nice in theaters on a yet-to-be-determined date.
