Bono’s audiobook Give up, which the U2 frontman authored and narrated, was named Audiobook of the Yr on the 2024 Audie Awards, which acknowledge distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word leisure. The awards have been introduced on the Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles on Monday (March 4).
Bono’s audiobook, subtitled 40 Songs, One Story, was launched by Penguin Random Home Audio in November 2022. It runs 20 hours and 25 minutes. A companion album, Songs of Give up, debuted and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 in April 2023.

Former first girl Michelle Obama gained within the enterprise/private growth class for The Mild We Carry. Six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald gained within the literary fiction & classics class for Homer’s The Iliad.
