IFC Movies and Shudder introduced at Comedian-Con over the weekend that they’re producing a sequel to the POV slasher horror thriller In a Violent Nature. The sequel is within the early levels of improvement.
Within the first movie, “When a locket is faraway from a collapsed fireplace tower within the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 60-year outdated crime, his physique is resurrected and turns into hellbent on retrieving it.
“The undead golem hones in on the group of vacationing teenagers liable for the theft and proceeds to methodically slaughter them one after the other in his mission to get it again – together with anybody in his method.”
Head of AMC Networks’ Movie Group Scott Shooman stated in an announcement: “In a Violent Nature demonstrated that there continues to be a craving for brand spanking new views within the horror panorama.

Producers for the sequel embrace Peter Kuplowsky and Shannon Hanmer, and Chris Nash will return as screenwriter. Emily Gotto, Nicholas Lazo and Samuel Zimmerman will oversee improvement for Shudder.
I’m not stunned this film is getting a sequel. It was a singular tackle the slasher style and whereas elements of it have been boring, it did function some insanely brutal kills.
When you haven’t seen it but, the film can have its streaming premiere on Shudder on Friday, September 13, 2024.
