The beloved Desert Daze pageant has canceled its 2024 version, which was to be its first in two years, because of “rising manufacturing prices and the present risky pageant market,” in line with an announcement from its organizers. The occasion was set for Oct. 10-13 in Lake Perris, Ca., with headliners Jack White, Cigarettes After Intercourse and the Mars Volta.
