Aquaman star Jason Momoa has detailed the near-death expertise within the ocean that made him give up smoking.
Momoa advised the story of the time he practically drowned whereas browsing in Maui, Hawaii on the Smartless podcast with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett.
“We paddled 13 miles down the coast … virtually a mile offshore. We’re about seven miles into it and my leash snapped,” he recalled.

“It is so windy on Maui and so the board simply went, I could not even see it anymore.”
The actor, 46, stated 10-foot waves have been smashing over his head in a notoriously harmful a part of the surf.
He was separated from his mates they usually could not see him in that a part of the reef.
“It pulls you out and also you simply get hit with these waves,” he continued.
“So I used to be caught on this loopy spot and unknown to me I used to be actually on the outer reef they usually could not see me. I had my paddle and I used to be waving it they usually could not see me.

After 10 minutes within the ocean, his buddy Larry Hamilton got here to his support from behind him.
