Man Prosecutors Say Masterminded Younger Dolph’s Homicide Will get Off
On Thursday (Aug. 21), the trial wrapped up for Hernandez Govan, the individual accused of being the intermediary between the shooters and the one who allegedly ordered the hit on the Memphis rhymer. After over two hours of deliberations, the jury discovered Govan not responsible of first-degree homicide and conspiracy to commit first-degree homicide. The Younger Dolph Homicide Case
Govan was one among three males charged with direct involvement within the 2021 killing of Younger Dolph, who was shot and killed inside Makeda’s Selfmade Butter Cookies in Memphis by two masked gunmen on Nov. 17, 2021. One of many shooters, Justin Johnson, was discovered responsible throughout his trial final September and sentenced to life in jail plus 35 years.
