Rosalía delivers a surprising first pattern from her upcoming Columbia album, LUX, within the type of the Nicolás Méndez-directed, Warsaw-set video for “Berghain,” which options vocals from Björk and Yves Tumor.
Within the extremely surreal clip, Rosalía is enveloped first by orchestra musicians after which a menagerie of animals as she strikes from her condo to a crowded bus, a jewellery retailer and a physician’s workplace. LUX might be launched Nov. 7. It was recorded with the London Symphonic Orchestra performed by Daníel Bjarnason and options such vocalists as Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, the Escolania de Montserrat i Cor Cambra Palau de la Música Catalana and Yahritza.
The album will function three unique tracks on its CD and vinyl editions, which may be pre-ordered right here. It’s the followup to 2022’s MOTOMAMI, which topped charts in Spain and Portugal and reached No. 1 on Billboard‘s Latin Pop Albums chart.
