Dying Want’s final two albums, Fragments of a Bitter Reminiscence and Signs of Survival, made them a promising up-and-comer inside hardcore and metalcore. Right now, the Portland five-piece have introduced their subsequent full-length, Flesh Stays Collectively, which was made with Will Putney and arrives Sept. 26 through SharpTone Information.
Of the LP, vocalist Emma Boster explains, “Flesh Stays Collectively is a discovery, a journey of grief, and a press release. Collectively, we face probably the most unacceptable circumstances in our lifetimes. Each tragedy turns into our personal, but we now have by no means been extra separated. Flesh is a vicious wake-up name. Slowly and painfully, we method the tip we deserve.”

The band match that heavy assertion with an equally crushing new single, “I’ll Know You’re Not Round,” which Boster says “expresses weak spot and deep remorse when confronted with the continued ache on the floor of our dependency with each other. The unavoidable battle, betrayal, and abandonment that lie throughout the cracks of our society. An acceptance of grief.”
The track arrives alongside a video co-directed by Eric Richter and guitarist Pedro Carrillo, that includes blood and ceremony. “It opens up the place this band can go and the way susceptible issues may be,” Carrillo provides. “Whether or not it’s by our personal accord or not, life is each susceptible and inventive. Even in probably the most complicated of occasions.”
