Netflix simply launched the primary trailer for Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Lifeless Man: A KNnves Out Thriller, the third chapter within the Knives Out saga, and it appears like Blanc is going through his most mind-bending case but.
This new thriller begins with a sudden, seemingly unattainable homicide that rattles a quiet city. With no suspects in sight, the police chief, Geraldine Scott (Mila Kunis), enlists Blanc’s assist. What follows is a wierd unraveling of secrets and techniques that pits logic towards religion.
Some of the attention-grabbing characters is priest Jud Duplenticy, performed by Josh O’Connor, who arrives to help Monsignor Jefferson Wicks, portrayed by Josh Brolin.
They’re surrounded by an ensemble solid of suspects that features religious churchgoer Martha Delacroix (Glenn Shut), groundskeeper Samson Holt (Thomas Haden Church), lawyer Vera Draven (Kerry Washington), bold politician Cy Draven (Daryl McCormack), city physician Nat Sharp (Jeremy Renner), live performance cellist Simone Vivane (Cailee Spaeny), and novelist Lee Ross (Andrew Scott).
