Margaret Qualley (The Substance, Maid), Drew Starkey (Outer Banks, Queer) and Michael Shannon (Nuremberg, George & Tammy) are set to star in director Jeff Nichols‘ (Mud, Loving, The Bikeriders) subsequent movie King Snake.
Nichols and his companions in Tri-State Footage, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Sarah Inexperienced, will produce the Southern gothic horror movie in affiliation with Vary Media Companions. FilmNation is financing the movie and launching gross sales out of the American Movie Market.
The movie follows a younger couple (Qualley and Starkey) who inherit a farm in rural Arkansas and should conquer the demons, each bodily and metaphysical, that hang-out its legacy.
