Bob Starkie from the legendary Aussie rock band Skyhooks has handed away aged 73.
The band introduced the passing on their Fb web page this morning, writing that he died after a battle with leukemia.
“It is with disappointment in our hearts that now we have to ship out this information that early this morning Bob ‘Bongo’ Starkie has handed away,” the assertion reads.
“For the previous 12 months he has fought the courageous battle towards leukemia hoping to get again on the highway to carry out extra exhibits.”
