The Rookie returns in early January with its eighth season, and ABC has launched a trailer teasing what’s subsequent for the police drama. The season eight premiere will take the sequence worldwide.
The episode titled “Czech Mate” is described as follows:
“The LAPD, FBI and Interpol work with Monica Stevens in Prague to focus on high-value terrorists working inside and outdoors the USA.”
Nathan Fillion, Mekia Cox, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winter, Jenna Dewan, Shawn Ashmore, and Lisseth Chavez star within the sequence. Initially, the sequence adopted the then-oldest rookie (Fillion), but it surely has since shifted its focus to different rookies.
ABC teased the next in regards to the return of The Rookie with the trailer’s launch:
“#TheRookie takes on a world of latest challenges on this Official Trailer! Tuesday, January 6 on ABC, prepare for a season premiere with explosive motion, surprising alliances, and circumstances that stretch throughout continents. Stream on Hulu.”
