HENRY DAVID THOREAU examines the life and work of the Nineteenth-century author within the context of antebellum New England and the bigger United States, in addition to by the common themes he targeted on in his writings: a person’s relationship to the state, tips on how to stay an genuine life, our connection to nature, and the influence of race on American life.
