Barry Mitchell, who performed with Queen of their early days, has died. (His actual age wasn’t available, however sources word someplace between 76 and 80.)
Greg Brooks, the band’s official archivist, shared the information on Fb.
“Terribly unhappy information simply acquired that early Queen bass participant (circa 1970), Barry Mitchell, has handed away,” Brooks wrote.
“His anecdotes on the conference had been fascinating and provided uncommon perception. He might be vastly missed.

In a 2018 interview reported by NME, Mitchell recalled, “We performed fairly just a few live shows in England, notably in Liverpool.”
“On the time, they weren’t in any respect the cult band you all know,” he added, noting he wasn’t enthusiastic in regards to the music and that he was fired. “I didn’t see the potential. It’s loopy to say this now, but it surely’s the reality.”
When Did Barry Mitchell Play With Queen?
Mitchell wasn’t Queen’s first bass participant, although.
When the group fashioned in London in 1970, Mike Grose was considered one of its founding members together with singer Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian Might and drummer Roger Taylor.
