In a latest interview, 50 Cent stated that Future is method higher than Jay-Z within the streets. The hip-hop mogul’s feedback have ignited a debate amongst followers on social media.

On Thursday (Feb. 16), political analyst and devoted rap fan Ari Melber posted his video interview with 50 Cent on MSNBC’s YouTube Channel. Throughout the interview, which was performed to rejoice the twentieth anniversary of Fif’s traditional 2003 debut album, Get Wealthy or Die Tryin’, Melber introduced up Billboard‘s debatable 50 Best Rappers of All Time record with Jay-Z at No. 1. When Melber requested 50 if their record was right, he stated, “No.”

Melber then requested 50 who must be No. 1 as an alternative of Hov, and he could not give a solution however he did agreed with the MSNBC host that Future is method greater than Jay within the streets.

“Yeah. He’s. Approach greater,” he acknowledged on the 27:53-mark within the video beneath. “Like, there’s constant music from him that did not chart are big data [in the streets] that folks love and recognize that.”

Whereas 50 Cent could have some extent, his feedback stirred up a debate on social media amongst rap followers. Some individuals agreed with 50’s evaluation whereas others really feel there are nuances to the previous G-Unit chief’s remarks.

“Future higher than Drake and Jay-Z,” tweeted one fan.
