March 25, 1997: Just a few weeks after the demise of The Infamous B.I.G., on March 9, 1997, followers rushed to the shops to cop the late Brooklyn rapper’s double-disc venture, Life After Loss of life, which was launched on this present day by way of Unhealthy Boy Information.

Selecting up proper the place his debut album Able to Die left off, Life After Loss of life was Biggie’s last studio album. The 24-song assortment boasted hit singles similar to “Hypnotize,” “Mo Cash, Mo Issues” and “Sky is the Restrict.”

Life After Loss of life reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the week ending April 12, 1997 and held the highest place for 4 weeks. On January 6, 2000, the LP was licensed diamond (10 million copies offered) by the Recording Trade Affiliation of America (RIAA). At present, the album stands at 11-times platinum.

Total, Life After Loss of life has been deemed a basic album and The Infamous B.I.G.’s most profound musical work earlier than his tragic demise.
