Dua Lipa is channeling the timeless essence of “UK rave tradition” into her upcoming third album, in response to a latest function printed by Rolling Stone.

The pop celebrity stated she grew up listening to 90s rock and electronica, which impressed the path of the album, her first since 2020’s Future Nostalgia. With influences starting from Primal Scream and Large Assault to Gorillaz, the Barbie hit-maker is kicking off a brand new psychedelic period of her sound.

“This report feels a bit extra uncooked,” Lipa stated. “I need to seize the essence of youth and freedom and having enjoyable and simply letting issues occur, whether or not it’s good or dangerous. You may’t change it. You simply must roll with the punches of no matter’s occurring in your life.”

Exploring British membership tradition and the sounds of “psychedelic pop,” Lipa is embracing the problem of paving her personal path whereas permitting others into her artistic universe for collaboration. Lipa’s upcoming album doesn’t have an official identify or launch date on the time of writing.
