Baroness Floella Benjamin has shared a glimpse contained in the late Queen Elizabeth II’s remaining days earlier than her loss of life in September 2022.

“And within the autobiography, there is a story of when she and I met, after I was the Chancellor of the College of Exeter, the primary black girl Chancellor on this nation. The previous youngsters’s TV presenter, recognized for her work on Play Faculty and Play Away, was recognised for her “tireless assist of kids and younger folks [and] her unwavering championing of variety”.

Throughout the awards ceremony, Floella acquired a particular message from the Prince of Wales in a pre-recorded video.
