We’re lower than two months away from the discharge of Marvel’s live-action Disney+ sequence, Agatha All Alongside, which is the WandaVision spinoff sequence that focuses on Kathryn Hahn’s character, Agatha Harkness.
She is joined by Patti LuPone’s Lilia, Sasheer Zamata’s Jennifer, Debra Jo Rupp’s Sharon, and Ali Ahn’s Alice, in addition to characters performed by Joe Locke, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili and Aubrey Plaza.
Within the sequence, Agatha Harkness finds herself “down and out of energy after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her curiosity is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Street, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re lacking.
“Collectively, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull collectively a determined coven, and set off down, down, down, The Street…”
When requested about this journey throughout a current interview with Empire, showrunner Jac Schaeffer and star Joe Locke, who performs the teenager, recounted a narrative of Schaeffer sharing images of The Witches’ Street set with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Locke recalled:
“Jac despatched Kevin Feige an image of the Witches’ Street set and he replied, ‘Oh my God, we’re making The Goonies‘. That is what I would been saying — that we had been making this journey sequence.”
Locke has revealed that the Agatha All Alongside script solely refers to him as “Teen,” however many reviews have come out speculating that he’s Scarlet Witch’s teenage son, Billy, aka Wiccan of the Younger Avengers. Regardless of the thriller his character is shrouded in, Locke gave another hints at how he’ll work together with Agatha.
“He is a well-known; he is just like the assistant to the coven. Teen is an enormous fan of witchcraft and witches, so for him to be taken beneath Agatha Harkness’ wing and kind a coven and go down the Witches’ Street is his dream. He is fanboy-esque, and in his component. Which could be very enjoyable — as a result of I used to be [too]!”
I can’t await this sequence! I like the world that was created in WandaVision, and I stay up for exploring this darker aspect of the story. Marvel Tv’s Agatha All Alongside premieres September 18 at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET, with the primary two episodes, solely on Disney+.
