I’m thrilled to say most not too long ago, I directed Karate Child: Legends, the most recent installment within the iconic franchise, bringing collectively Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio on display screen for the primary time. We’re introducing a brand new hero, Li Fong (performed by Ben Wang), and telling a contemporary story!

Would love to speak about bringing legacy franchises again to life, directing legends, or what it’s like making films!

Synopsis:

After transferring to New York Metropolis along with his mom, kung fu prodigy Li Fong struggles to let go of the previous as he tries to slot in along with his new classmates. When a brand new pal wants his assist, Li enters a karate competitors — however his expertise alone aren't sufficient. With assist from Mr. Han and Daniel LaRusso, he quickly learns to merge two kinds into one for the final word martial arts showdown.
