John Mayer‘s touring drummer has examined constructive for COVID-19, the singer-songwriter revealed on social media Monday evening (Feb. 21).

“This afternoon, our drummer examined constructive for COVID-19,” Mayer wrote round 7 p.m. ET.

He then wished him a fast restoration and clarified that Monday evening’s live performance would go on as deliberate, although he didn’t say who will probably be filling in on drums.

“Tonight’s live performance @TheGarden will go on as scheduled, with a really particular presentation. All of us want him a speedy restoration and look ahead to seeing you all on the present.”

Mayer is about to carry out at New York Metropolis’s Madison Sq. Backyard tonight, the second of two evenings on the venue, as a part of his Sob Rock Tour, which runs by means of Might. “All of it feels deeper and extra thrilling than ever,” he tweeted of evening one at Madison Sq. Backyard.
