A Trendy Life helps the band navigate struggles with identification and expectations. It’s full of hope and the need to remain true to oneself. The album was produced by the band with assist from Yves Rothman (Yves Tumor, Miya Folick) and Chris Walla.

“It’s about survival,” Matt Lowell says of the album in a press launch. “Navigating by means of all that’s thrown at us. Sustaining who we’re and the place we wish to be. Lowell additionally spoke to The Large Takeover about working with Thirty Tigers for the file. “They’ve superb artists like Sturgill Simpson and Jason Isbell.
