Stewart Bevan, who performed Professor Clifford Jones alongside Jon Pertwee’s third Physician in Physician Who in 1973, has handed away. He was 73.

The information was confirmed by his former co-star and ex-partner Katy Manning on the night of February 21, native time, by way of Twitter.

“Probably the most lovely man poet actor screenwriter husband & father to [daughters Coral Bevan and Wendy Bevan] went on his awfully massive journey,” Manning wrote.
