In an interview with Ebony Journal, Martin Lawrence mentioned the potential of additional Dangerous Boys movies, and the way Will Smith’s Oscar slap hasn’t modified the way forward for the sequence.

When requested about whether or not Dangerous Boys 4 may nonetheless occur after Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on the 2022 Academy Awards, Lawrence mentioned, “We bought yet one more no less than.” Smith has been dropped from numerous initiatives on account of the slap and banned from the Academy for 10 years. This comes after Selection confirmed a fourth Dangerous Boys movie again in 2020, which might be written by Chris Bremner and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

The newest entry within the sequence, Dangerous Boys for Life, facilities on the Miami PD and its elite AMMO workforce’s try and take down Armando Armas, the pinnacle of a drug cartel. “Armando is a cold-blooded killer with a vicious, taunting nature,” says the official synopsis. “He’s dedicated to the work of the cartel and is dispatched by his mom to kill Mike Lowery. Paola Nuñez will tackle the position of Rita, the robust and humorous prison psychologist who’s the newly appointed head of AMMO, and Mike’s former girlfriend … the one who bought away.”
