On Wednesday, the Soviet-born mannequin posted an image of some Olivier salad with the caption, “Russianzz on Wednaday…”

The caption caught the eye of some who claimed that the phrase “Russianzz” was a reference to the “Z” image that has turn out to be emblematic of help of Russia’s invasion — showing on Russian navy automobiles and in rallies in help of the Kremlin. The professional-war image has subsequently even been banned in some German states, citing the felony code in opposition to “incitement to crime of aggression.”

Subsequently, some interpreted Irina’s story as an endorsement of the conflict in Ukraine:

Because of this, Irina took to her story yesterday to put in writing, “Generally a salad is only a salad.”

“I promise: No coded messages or political commentary right here. Wishing everybody love,” she added.
