We’re paying our respects to all of the prolific musicians, actors, comedians, and cultural icons who died in 2022. Only a few days into August, we misplaced sports activities broadcasting icon Vin Scully. In July, groundbreaking “Star Trek” star Nichelle Nichols, “The Little Mermaid” voice actor Pat Carroll, “Bust Down” star Jak Knight, “The Godfather” actor James Caan, and William “Poogie” Hart of The Delfonics all died.
We additionally misplaced Hollywood icon Sidney Poitier, Miss USA 2019 winner Cheslie Kryst, “Bat Out of Hell” rocker Meat Loaf, funk pioneer Betty Davis, and “Full Home” comic Bob Saget. All of them made lasting marks on their respective industries. Forward, we pay homage to all of the celebrities we have misplaced in 2022.
