Followers of Wayward Pines will probably be excited to study that one other twisty, sci-fi novel by creator Blake Crouch is being tailored as a tv collection, this time starring Academy Award-winner Jennifer Connelly for Apple TV+.
Darkish Matter is a nine-episode collection that tells the story of a scientist who is shipped to a parallel universe and witnesses one other model of his life play out, all as a result of he decided years in the past that change the course of his actuality. The physicist within the present will probably be performed by Joel Edgerton, and now Connelly has been added as Jason Dessen’s spouse, Daniela.
Based on the synopsis:
“The collection will observe Jason Dessen (Edgerton), a physicist, professor, and household man who – one evening whereas strolling house on the streets of Chicago – is kidnapped into an alternate model of his life. Surprise rapidly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his actuality amid the multiverse of lives he might have lived. On this labyrinth of mind-bending realities, he embarks on a harrowing journey to get again to his true household and save them from essentially the most terrifying, unbeatable foe possible: himself.”
Darkish Matter will probably be government produced by Matt Tolmach and David Manpearl for Matt Tolmach Productions. Crouch will write and function showrunner and government producer on the collection, and Jakob Verbruggen (Invasion, The Alienist, London Spy, The Fall) is about to direct the primary three episodes.
