Author Kurt Johnstad has been tapped to write down the screenplay for the upcoming movie adaptation of the comedian ebook Prophet, in keeping with The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is ready to star Jake Gyllenhaal and will likely be directed by Sam Hargrave, the director of the hit motion movie Extraction. Johnstad’s work within the motion style is notable, with Johnstad having written the screenplays for each 300 movies, in addition to 2017’s Atomic Blonde and the 2012 movie Act of Valor.

In line with The Hollywood Reporter’s report, Studio 8 — who’s engaged on the variation — will likely be specializing in the unique story for the character, with Prophet being buried in a bombing and waking 20 years later in 1965 to a brand new world. The movie will reportedly give attention to Prophet making an attempt to keep away from KGB brokers who want to create a brand new line of super-soldiers from his blood.
