The Nation Music Affiliation Awards on Nov. 9 kicked off with a tribute to considered one of nation music’s greats, Loretta Lynn, who died on Oct. 4. Simply over a month after Loretta’s loss of life, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire took the stage to honor her on the CMAs. The women took the stage one-by-one, singing a few of Loretta’s greatest hits, together with “Don’t Come House A-Drinkin’”, “Coal Miner’s Daughter” and “You’re Trying At Nation.”

Loretta was 90 years outdated when she died, leaving her mark on the nation music neighborhood. Like so many others, Carrie, Miranda and Reba had been all impressed by the late singer. “I’m so heartbroken to listen to about Loretta’s passing,” Miranda wrote on Instagram. “She was so variety to me and blazed so many trails for all of us women in nation music. Thanks or all of the songs. Miss you. Fly excessive.”

Carrie wrote a particularly prolonged Instagram submit of her personal, too. In her tribute Instagram submit, Reba in contrast Loretta to her mom, citing how they had been each “robust” and “fiercely loyal” ladies who beloved their youngsters. “Certain makes me really feel good that Mama went first so she may welcome Loretta into the hollers of heaven!” she added. “I at all times did and I at all times will love Loretta. She was at all times so good to me. I positive admire her paving the tough and rocky street for all us woman singers.”
