Former Prime Gear presenter Sue Baker has died age 67 after a battle with motor neurone illness.
The TV icon of the ’80s died “with household round her”, in accordance with a press release launched by Baker’s family members.
Her household stated: “It’s with very nice disappointment that we share the information of Sue’s passing.
“A doting mom to Ian and Hannah, a loving grandmother to Tom and George, an exquisite mother-in-law to Lucy.

“She handed at dwelling this morning with household round her.”
The assertion went on to explain Baker as “a gifted and prolific author, a charismatic TV presenter, and a passionate animal lover”.
“She had a life and profession that many would envy, however did all of it with such grace that she was admired and revered by all who knew her,” it continued.
“We all know she meant a lot to so many. Thanks to everybody who has supported her over the previous couple of years as she battled with MND.”
Sue Baker is remembered by automotive fans, followers of Prime Gear and journalists as a pioneering trailblazer.

Baker joined collection 4 of BBC’s Prime Gear again in 1980 on greater than 100 episodes of the collection till she left in 1991. Her position was finally taken over by Jeremy Clarkson.
