In typical Netflix trend, they’ve canceled one other strong sequence after just one season. That sequence is the horror thriller sequence 1899, which is ready on the ocean in a ship.
The present comes from the creators of Darkish, Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, and it was described as a “visually gorgeous Odyssee the place nothing is because it appears.” The sequence is ready within the 12 months 1899 aboard Kerberos. “On their journey throughout the huge and treacherous Atlantic Ocean, the passengers of the Kerberos encounter the largest thriller of their lives.”
Co-creators Odar and Friese revealed the information on Instagram, saying:
“With a heavy coronary heart now we have to let you know that ‘1899’ is not going to be renewed. We might have liked to complete this unimaginable journey with a second and third season as we did with ‘Darkish.’ However typically issues don’t prove the way in which you deliberate. That’s life.
“We all know this may disappoint thousands and thousands of followers on the market. However we need to thanks from the underside of our hearts that you simply have been part of this excellent journey. We love you. Always remember.”
I used to be truly invested on this present, I used to be enthusiastic about the way forward for the present and seeing the place the story took us, so it’s onerous to not be bummed out that Netflix has determined to cancel it. One other one bites the mud… what a disgrace.
