NYC DJ/producer Mike Nasty is again with “Jazz Membership NY” that includes Omari Clarke out now through Nasty Tracks. Off the again of his debut EP launch “Deep Into the Solar,” and bought out events coast to coast from NY to LA, “Jazz Membership NY” units the aesthetic for the expectations of Mike’s sophomore challenge. The title alone units the vibe, and the one cowl actually takes it there, visually. From Omari Clarke’s MCing, and the construct up of devices guided by the keys, layered with a deep home groove, that is the membership you wish to be in.

Native to Memphis, Mike Nasty’s music is not only the music he likes, it’s who he’s. It’s the reflection of his personal journey.

I wished to faucet into deeper sonics of home music with influences of Jazz, Soul, Acid home, and Hip Hop. The challenge represents my musical journey which all started in Memphis. The Blues and Gospel affect from town has helped form my music model into what it’s at this time. This EP pays homage to the place I really like probably the most. I’ll at all times signify the South with each accomplishment I obtain.
