Throughout Saturday’s digital JordanCon panel, Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time introduced new recurring solid members for Season 2.

The collection, which is predicated on Robert Jordan’s best-selling fantasy novels, has added Maja Simonsen (Emily in Paris) as Chiad, Ragga Ragnars (Vikings) as Bain, Jay Duffy (Derry Ladies) as Dain Bornhald and Rima Te Wiata (Kiri and Lou) as Sheriam Bayanar.

Earlier Season 2 castings embrace Donal Finn as a recast Mat, Ayoola Sensible (Killing Eve) as Aviendha, Man Roberts (Hanna) as Uno Nomeshta, Arnas Fedaravicius (The Final Kingdom) as Mesema, Gregg Chillingirian (A Discovery of Witches) as Ingtar Shinowa, Ceara Coveney as Elayne Trakand, Natasha O’Keeffe (Peaky Blinders) probably as Selene and Meera Syal (Broadchurch) in an unspecified “vital” position.

The fantasy collection stars Rosamund Pike as Moiraine Damodred, Daniel Henney as Lan Mandragoran, Zoë Robins as Nynaeve al’Meara, Madeleine Madden as Egwene al’Vere, Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, and Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara.

The Wheel of Time “follows Moiraine (Pike), a member of the extremely highly effective all-female group referred to as the Aes Sedai, as she arrives within the small city of Two Rivers,” in keeping with the official synopsis. “There, she embarks on a harmful, world-spanning journey with 5 younger women and men, one among whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will both save or destroy humanity.”

Although the Season 2 premiere date has but to be launched, Prime Video introduced it already renewed the collection for a 3rd season throughout final 12 months’s San Diego Comedian-Con.
