The indie-pop artist teased the tune on social media final month, sharing it was born out of a dialog between her and the Coup musician/filmmaker Boots Riley (Sorry to Trouble You) about his upcoming Prime Video collection I am a Virgo. “Prescription” will seem on the soundtrack for the collection, which is an absurdist comedy a few 13-foot teenager in Oakland, CA and due out this summer season.
In a press launch, Boots Riley shared, “Remi Wolf did the quickest flip round for a tune thats completely excellent for the I am A Virgo scene it is in. The tune is a future traditional. The tune marks Wolf’s first launch because the summer season 2022 launch of the deluxe model of her debut album Juno.
