Yellowjackets wrapped its second season on Showtime with a killer ending and a promise that issues are going to get “weirder.”
In a Twitter thread posted Friday, Co-Creator Ashley Lyle expressed gratitude towards her solid and crew for working their “absolute asses off” on a season that went to extremes — together with with a shock demise on the finish of the season. Consequently, some followers weren’t too happy with how she, co-creator Bart Nickerson and their writers determined to wrap issues up on the drama a few staff of highschool soccer gamers who survive a airplane crash within the wilderness.
“So I do know some folks actually loved the Yellowjackets finale…and a few folks …. didn’t. Yellowjackets was renewed for a 3rd season in December, earlier than the second season premiered in March.
