OTT content material platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hotstar displaying tobacco merchandise or their use should show anti-tobacco well being spots of a minimal 30 seconds period every at the start and center of the programme. The platforms can even have to show anti-tobacco well being warnings as a outstanding static message on the backside of the display screen throughout the interval of show of the tobacco merchandise or their use within the programme.

The Ministry of Well being and Household Welfare (MoHFW) has launched the brand new guidelines following a dialogue with the Ministry of Info and Broadcasting (IMB) and different stakeholders.
