Out of practically 2,500 entries, 14 college students have been named winners of the fiftieth annual Scholar Academy Awards competitors by the Academy of Movement Image Arts and Sciences.

All Scholar Academy Award-winning movies are eligible to compete for 2023 Oscars within the Animated Brief Movie, Reside Motion Brief Movie or Documentary Brief Movie class. Previous winners have gone on to obtain 67 Oscar nominations and have received or shared 12 awards.
College students will take part in an in-person award ceremony free and open to the general public (tickets should be requested upfront) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, on the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. The medal placements – gold, silver and bronze – within the 4 award classes shall be introduced on the ceremony.
The Scholar Academy Awards had been established in 1972 to supply a platform for rising world expertise by creating alternatives inside the trade to showcase their work.
