“XO, Kitty” follows Kitty Music Covey (Anna Cathcart) as she travels to South Korea with a view to reconnect with a misplaced love. By the sound of issues, the “XO, Kitty” solid rapidly developed a detailed bond — although two of the solid members are literally relations, which was apparently a giant shock for everybody.
It seems that Gia Kim and Sang Heon Lee, who play Yuri and Min Ho, are literally real-life siblings. In an interview with Teen Vogue, fellow star Minyeong Choi opened up about how the solid discovered they have been associated. “I am undecided if I am allowed to say this, however . . . do you know that Gia [Kim, who plays Yuri] and Sang Heon are siblings in actual life?” Choi stated of the “mind-blowing” revelation. He went on to disclose that the information had come to mild when Lee requested if he might add his sister to a solid group textual content.
“I used to be like, ‘What?’ In fact, I wish to meet my solid’s household too, however not on the primary day and never in our first assembly,” Choi stated. “[Then] Sang Heon was like, ‘Oh, really, she’s taking part in Yuri.’ After which I used to be like, ‘What?!'”
In keeping with Choi, the solid grew extraordinarily shut over the course of filming, so there weren’t too many extra huge surprises to observe. Nonetheless, his sister’s presence did make issues a bit uncomfortable for Choi when he needed to kiss Madison (Jocelyn Shelfo) whereas Kim was on set. “I did not need her to be there, and, oh my gosh, it was simply so awkward . . . I [could] see Gia all the way in which there, behind the DJ sales space set,” he advised Netflix in Might, “saying that his sister refused to depart even after he requested her to. “She was like, ‘No!’ And I used to be like, ‘What do you imply, no?!” he continued. “You wish to see your brother kiss somebody?’ I feel that was my foremost awkward and embarrassing second.”
Thankfully for followers — although probably sadly for Choi — there could also be much more moments like that in retailer, because the present was renewed for season two in June.
“XO, Kitty” season one is now streaming on Netflix.
