Rising LA punk band Dying Lens have introduced Chilly World, their first album for Epitaph. It’s due Could 3. The band say the LP title “simply appeared to slot in the times we’re residing. It’s the will to thrive in a deteriorating world, all whereas pushing those that really feel like there isn’t any hope and hoping to provide them a second wind, a way of hope.”
The album was produced by I Am The Avalanche/the Movielife member Brett Romnes, marking Dying Lens’ first time working with a producer. “We had been scared that our sound was not going to be us, however Brett was such an incredible addition to the writing course of,” they are saying. “The purpose was to discover a widespread floor and construct from that, and we did nearly immediately on day one. It was lovely.”

They already launched two singles, “Vacant” and “Limousine,” and immediately they’ve shared the title observe. It blurs their punk roots with pop sensibilities, and it comes with a video you could try beneath.
Dying Lens will start their run supporting a part of the Militarie Gun, Pool Youngsters, and Religious Cramp tour on Wednesday (Jan. 31), which is adopted by an LA present with Wavves, a tour with Teen Mortgage, and extra. See all of the dates beneath.
