Morgan Wallen has lastly damaged his silence nearly two weeks after he was arrested in downtown Nashville. 

The nation music singer, 30, issued a press release on X (previously Twitter) on Friday after he was booked on three felony costs for allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of a bar on April 7. 

Based on stories, he threw the chair off the sixth-floor roof of Eric Church’s newly opened bar Chief’s, situated on Nashville’s Decrease Broadway. 

Addressing his arrest, Morgan wrote: “I did not really feel proper publicly checking in till I made amends with some people.

“I’ve touched base with Nashville regulation enforcement, my household, and the great individuals at Chief’s.” 

He continued: “I am not happy with my habits, and I settle for accountability. I’ve the utmost respect for the officers working on daily basis to maintain us all protected.” 

Morgan stated that his arrest won’t have an effect on his One Evening at a Time World Tour, which kicked off at first of April and can see him play in Oxford, Mississippi on April 20. 

He added: “Relating to my tour, there can be no change. -MW”

Based on a statement by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Division on X, Morgan was booked on three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one depend of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. 

The assertion added that after throwing the chair, it landed simply toes away from two Metro Nashville cops. 

He was launched from the Metro Nashville Jail round 3:30 a.m. after paying a $15,250 bond.

Morgan is ‘not proud’ of his habits

Following his arrest, his legal professional, Worrick Robinson of Worrick Robinson Legislation, advised Billboard in a press release: “At 10:53 p.m. Sunday night Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He’s cooperating totally with authorities.” 

Morgan wasn’t the one one to interrupt his silence. 

Two days after the incident, the Chief’s official Instagram account shared a photograph of a brand new signal exterior the venue that learn: “Our pigs fly, our chairs do not.”
