Grizz Chapman, who performed Tracy Jordan’s pal and bodyguard Grizz on “30 Rock,” has died on the age of 52, TMZ stories. He reportedly handed away on Friday; no explanation for dying has been launched.
Chapman started showing as Grizz when “30 Rock” debuted on NBC in 2006, pairing up with Kevin Brown’s Dot Com as the private protectors and sounding boards for Tracy Morgan’s erratic comic Tracy Jordan. (Chapman later mentioned he met Morgan whereas working as a bouncer at a strip membership.) He went on to look in 80 episodes throughout all seven seasons, with the present wrapping up its Emmy-winning run in 2013.
