Rico Nasty has introduced her new album, RX, out July 24.
RX was produced by Kenneth Blume after reconnecting following their work on the 2019 mixtape Anger Administration and “SMACK A BITCH” from her 2020 debut album, Nightmare Trip.
“I missed somebody that was trustworthy with me,” Nasty says. “I missed somebody who knew me again then, earlier than I had any success. I felt like if I’m going to get again to doing me, I ought to return to somebody who will be actual with me, someone who’s not too severe or draining.”

For 4 months, Blume and Nasty labored on RX, an album she describes as “returning” to her roots by leaning towards her signature mix of punk, steel, and different sounds. 100 gecs’ Dylan Brady offered extra manufacturing on “Kiss N Make-up.”
