In his 2023 guide Yearbook, Seth Rogen recalled a weird five-hour assembly he and Judd Apatow had with Tom Cruise in 2006, when Tom was exploring comedy. Throughout the assembly, Tom introduced up his notorious Oprah interview.
He allegedly advised them, “Nicely, yeah, they’re making it appear to be I am dropping my thoughts. There is a coordinated effort to make it seem that manner. [Seth asked, ‘Who would do that?’] The pharmaceutical business. As a result of my publicity of their fraud has value them SO a lot cash that they are determined. They’re scrambling, and so they’re doing the whole lot they’ll to discredit me so I will not harm gross sales anymore. … They edited it to make it look a lot worse than it was.”
